Banana Muffins

These muffins are quite tasty even with the banana part. They ARE filled with dark chocolate chips, and when you eat these muffins warm, those dark chocolate chips melt in your mouth, oh-so-good!

Banana Dark Chocolate Chip Muffins

Ingredients

  • 3 bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1-1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line muffin pan with paper liners.
  2. In bowl of stand mixer, combine bananas, butter, sugar, and egg. Mix well.
  3. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon until well combined.
  4. Stir in chocolate chips.
  5. Pour batter into 12 muffin cups.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  7. Cool on wire racks before removing from pan.
