A few weeks ago while I was at Blissdom, IÂ met some great folks from GoGo Squeez, and I received some delicious samples.
GoGo Squeez packets are your applesauce on the go. Applesauce is great by itself, but y’all know I like to experiment. A while back, I used GoGo Squeez to make Caramel Apple Bars which are heavenly, but I decided to try something a little different with the Apple Strawberry pack that I received from Blissdom.
So here they are…Carrot Apple Bars. They are super easy with only 4 ingredients (the apple is missing in the pic). I hope y’all enjoy them!

Ingredients
- 1 box carrot cake mix
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 pouches squeeze applesauce (I used GoGo Squeez Apple Strawberry)
- 1 large apple, peeled, cored, and chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray 9x13-inch pan.
- In a large bowl, cut butter into cake mix until butter is well incorporated and coarse crumbs form.
- Press approximately 2 cups of crumb mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- Squeeze applesauce evenly over crumbs.
- Spread chopped apples evenly over applesauce.
- Top with remaining crumb mixture. Make sure to spread evenly over filling so the apples will not burn.
- Bake in preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until top is golden.
- Cool completely before slicing into bars.

Disclosure: This is not a sponsored post. I received GoGo Squeez samples at Blissdom and decided to try them in a recipe.
