Caramel Apple Pie

For Pie:

1 refrigerated unbaked pie crust

5 cups peeled, cored, and chopped apples

1/2 cup sugar

2 tablespoons butter, chopped

3 tablespoons flour

1 tablespoon cinnamon

1/2 cup caramel dip

For Crumb Topping:

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 cup flour

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup oats

1/4 cup butter


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place pie crust in pie pan and flute edges.

In a large bowl, combine chopped apples, 1/2 cup sugar, 2 Tbsp butter, 3 Tbsp flour, and 1 Tbsp cinnamon. Toss to evenly coat apples. Place apple mixture in prepared crust. Drizzle caramel dip over apples.

In a medium bowl, combine 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 cup flour, brown sugar, and oats. Use fork or pastry knife to cut in 1/4 cup butter until coarse crumbs form. Sprinkle over pie.

Bake in preheated oven for 50 minutes to 1 hour.

Note: If the edges of crust start to get too brown, place strips of foil over outside edge of crust.
