Diced Tomato Pasta Sauce

1/2 purple onion, diced

4 cloves of garlic, chopped

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 (14.5 oz) can of Hunt’s Diced Tomatoes

1/2 tablespoon dried oregano

handful fresh basil leaves, chopped

1 cup cooked chicken breast, chopped

2 cups dried pasta

fresh Parmesan


In a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat, saute the onion and garlic in a bit of olive oil until translucent. Add in tomatoes, oregano, and basil; stir. Add chopped chicken. Cover and reduce to a simmer.

Cook pasta according to package directions and drain.

Poor pasta sauce over cooked pasta. Top with Parmesan.
