1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1-1/3 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup strongly brewed coffee
1-1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup Dutch cocoa
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup toffee chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray 9-inch square pan.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt butter and 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips on HIGH for 1 minute or until butter melts. Stir until chocolate is smooth.
In a large bowl, mix chocolate mixture, sugar, vanilla, eggs, and coffee until well combined. Add flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Mix well until batter is thick but smooth. Stir in mini chocolate chips. Spread batter into prepared pan. Sprinkle with toffee chips.
Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and cool on wire racks before slicing into 20 squares.
